Shockwave Therapy – Reduce Pain & Heal Faster!

17 May Shockwave Therapy – Reduce Pain & Heal Faster!

Have you tried several treatments and they have failed? If so, you may benefit from shockwave therapy.

What is SWT??

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) devices generate pulses of high pressure sound that travel through the skin. These high pressure pulses create metabolic change and allow old damaged weak cells to be replaced by new healthy cells resulting in stronger tissues. Tissues subjected to shockwave therapy tend to form new blood vessels that promote strong tissue growth. Although the complete remodelling phase takes up to 12 weeks, patients often report a reduction in pain within a few days following treatment.

No need for medications, injections and surgery!

Completed in the podiatry office and all over in a matter of 3 minutes.

Clinical Evidence

There is strong research evidence to support shockwave therapy as an adjunct treatment in cases of chronic plantar fasciosis (heel pain) particularly in those who have suffered for more than 6 months duration.
